  • Conditions of Sale
    1. Bosto Canada is the agent of Bosto International Co Ltd, the manufacturer, and these conditions of sale are subject to the manufacturer's conditions of sale.
    2. These conditions of sale apply to orders placed with Bosto Canada through this site or through our eBay store.
    3. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order for any reason, without any obligation.
    4. We are not authorized to deal with mail forwarding or intermediary shipping services.
    5. We ship tablets free of charge unless otherwise stated.
    6. The flat rate combined shipping cost for products other than tablets will be visible at checkout.
    7. Orders are shipped directly to customers from the factory in Shenzhen, China, unless otherwise stated.
    8. Canadian customers may pre-order tablets for local delivery from the warehouse in Canada.
      • Pre-ordered items have the advantage of duty-free delivery in Canada.
      • Pre-ordered items are dispatched in batches of 10 from the factory in China to our Canadian warehouse for local distribution.
      • Payment must be made at the time of placing a pre-order.
      • At any time a pre-order may be converted to direct delivery from the factory.
      • Pre-ordered items qualify for the local return option.
        • In the event of having to return the item within the warranty period, you will be provided with a Canadian return address.
        • The local return option must be selected when you add a pre-order item to your cart.
        • If you convert your pre-order to direct delivery, we will refund your local return option payment.
    9. Selected tablet models ship to EU countries from the warehouse in the United Kingdom.
    10. Prices exclude GST/HST (Goods and Services Tax / Harmonized Sales Tax) or VAT (Value-Added Tax), although this will change in the near future.
    11. The manufacturer may change product specifications without notice, and any images, sheets, brochures, drawings, or other medium detailing performance, design, features, or specifications, may differ from current products and are not binding.
    12. Although we make every effort to accurately present product specifications and features, mistakes do happen and we are not responsible for any resulting direct or consequential loss.
    13. Before placing an order, please satisfy yourself that the product is fit for your intended purpose, because this is out of our control.
    14. Compatibility and suitability of Bosto products cannot be guaranteed, and any incompatibility with your system or software, and any unsuitability for your application, would not be considered as a product defect.
    15. We will provide you with an expected dispatch date for your order, and we will inform you timeously if a delay should occur. However, we are not liable for any loss or costs that may result from failure to meet given dispatch or delivery dates.
    16. All products are offered subject to availability, and we reserve the right to cancel a sale if a product is no longer available.
    17. Bosto products are designed to operate with most popular creative software applications, however, we cannot guarantee that every feature of any specific software application is supported.
    18. Although we offer products for sale in good faith, we are not responsible for nonfulfilment of orders or warranties by the manufacturer.
    19. We are committed to supporting the products purchased by our clients, however, we cannot accept any liability or offer any compensation on behalf of the manufacturer for any lack of product support.
  • Shipping Policy
    1. We ship worldwide, except to certain countries and regions served by other distributors.
    2. Our prices include normal shipping costs for door-to-door delivery.
    3. We may request additional payment for remote delivery.
    4. A shipping discount is given when ordering two or more of most items.
    5. You may request a combined shipping voucher when ordering two or more different items.
    6. Orders for tablets fulfilled from the factory in Shenzhen, China will normally be dispatched within five business days.
    7. Orders for tablets fulfilled from a local warehouse will normally be dispatched within two business days.
    8. All orders for pens, nibs and other accessories will normally be dispatched within five business days from the factory in Shenzhen, China.
    9. Canadian pre-orders are shipped in two stages.
      • Pre-ordered tablets are dispatched from the factory in batches of 10 and normally delivered to the Canadian warehouse within five business days. 
      • The individual pre-ordered tablets are normally dispatched from the Canadian warehouse within two business days for local delivery.
    10. Shipping time for tablets from the factory via DHL is typically two to four business days.
    11. Shipping time for pens, nibs and other accessories from the factory via EMS (Expedited Mail Service) is typically 10 business days.
    12. Please allow for shipping delays during peak periods.
    13. A tracking number is issued for every shipment.
    14. Every tablet is inspected and tested before shipping to ensure safe delivery in perfect working order.
    15. For PayPal transactions, we only ship to PayPal verified addresses.
    16. We do not ship to mail forwarding addresses.
    17. For shipments from the factory, any import duties, customs fees and taxes (GST/HST or VAT) are not included in the price; these costs are the buyer's responsibility.
    18. For shipments from the factory, the carrier will handle customs formalities on your behalf, although ultimately this responsibility rests on you.
    19. Before buying a product that will be shipped from the factory, please ascertain the possible import costs from your local border services.
    20. Customs processing may result in shipping delays, although this is rarely the case.
    21. For shipments from the local warehouse, currently you are not liable for the payment of GST/HST or VAT.
    22. Please be aware that disbursement fees or shipping surcharges may be payable; these charges are not included in the price.
    23. Generally we do not ship tablets to post office boxes, so please provide your street address and contact number for door-to-door delivery.
    24. We offer dependable shipping services, and we ensure that products are packaged securely. However, please be aware that only limited insurance cover is provided for loss and damage in transit.
    25. Please request a quote if you would like additional insurance cover for loss and damage in transit.
    26. Our acceptance of any risk is limited to replacement cost and excludes any indirect or consequential loss.
    27. Please open the package in the presence of the delivery person, and endorse the delivery note if any items are damaged or missing.
    28. Should any items be damaged or missing, then report this immediately to the carrier and to us.
    29. Our responsibility for shipping ends once proof of delivery has been obtained.
    30. If for any reason it is not possible to effect delivery, then the carrier will return the package to us. In this event, you are responsible for the costs of carriage, attempted delivery, return shipping, and any fees, taxes and duties.
  • Product Support
    1. We use a global community-based support system backed by factory engineers.
    2. Support is provided by the Bosto User Group forum, managed by volunteers for the benefit of all Bosto tablet users.
    3. The forum offers one-on-one technical support, up-to-date drivers, installation guides, software test reports, product information and reviews, and various discussion sections.
    4. Please be prepared to give time to configuring your computer system and software for use with your Bosto tablet.
    5. If you suspect a fault with your product then please do not worry; just use the forum to troubleshoot and if necessary to request assistance.
    6. Once a product fault has been verified using the forum, we will intervene to arrange an exchange or warranty repair as required.
    7. Periodically the manufacturer releases firmware and driver updates, which are available from the forum.
    8. Please be aware that a failed firmware update (flash) can render your tablet unusable, and that you apply firmware at your own risk.
    9. The manufacturer has a zero-tolerance policy with regard to defective pixels, and this is covered by warranty.
  • Returns Policy
    1. You are welcome to return your tablet within 14 days of delivery if you are not completely satisfied.
    2. We trust that you will not return your tablet for any caveat mentioned in our FAQs.
    3. The full purchase price will be refunded less the actual cost of original outbound shipping.
    4. You would need to pay for return shipping, including any insurance for loss and damage in transit.
    5. Any fees, taxes and duties imposed on the return shipment would be payable by you.
    6. We hope never to charge a restocking fee of 10%, but we reserve the right to do so.
    7. Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase, the product must be returned to the factory in Shenzhen, China.
    8. No product may be returned without approval and before we provide shipping instructions.
    9. The product must be returned in perfectly salable condition with all accessories and in the original packaging.
    10. The product must be wrapped adequately to prevent damage in transit.
    11. We recommend that you send your package by recorded delivery or registered post, and that you insure for loss and damage in transit.
    12. Your refund will be given once the product has been received and inspected.
    13. Any refund will be withheld if the product was tampered with or damaged by the user.
    14. The cost of any damage in transit and any missing accessories will be deducted from the refund amount.
    15. This return period of 14 days runs concurrently with the warranty exchange period of 14 days.
    16. Please send us an email if you would like to return your tablet within the 14 days return period.
    17. This returns policy also applies to accessories.
  • Product Warranty
    1. The manufacturer warrants Bosto tablets to be free of material and manufacturing defects for one year from date of purchase.
    2. This product warranty is only valid for the original purchaser.
    3. Accessories are susceptible to mishandling and are not warranted, but these items will be replaced if defective when received.
    4. The manufacturer must be able to verify a defect before accepting a warranty claim.
    5. If a defect is found to be invalid, then the cost of outbound shipping is not covered.
    6. The warranty is void if the manufacturer finds evidence of tampering.
    7. If user caused damage is found, then repair costs are chargeable, and outbound shipping is not covered.
    8. A defective tablet reported within 14 days of delivery will be remedied by sending replacement parts or by exchange with a new item.
      • The defect must be verified and the claim accepted within a period of 22 days from delivery.
      • The cost of return shipping will be reimbursed.
      • The cost of outbound shipping is covered.
    9. A defective tablet reported after 14 days of delivery will be remedied by sending replacement parts or by factory repair.
      • The cost of return shipping will not be reimbursed.
      • The cost of outbound shipping is covered.
    10. Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase, products must be returned to the factory in Shenzhen, China.
    11. No product may be returned without approval and before shipping instructions have been provided.
    12. When returning a product, please observe the following points:
      • You would be responsible for any loss and damage in transit.
      • Package the item to give adequate protection against damage in transit; if possible reuse the original inner packaging.
      • In the case of a tablet, clearly label the package as fragile.
      • We recommend that you send the package by recorded delivery or registered post.
      • In the case of a tablet, we recommend that you insure for loss and damage in transit.
      • You would be responsible for any fees, taxes and duties imposed on the return shipment.
    13. Out of warranty repairs will be undertaken for a nominal charge plus the cost of replacement parts.
      • The cost of return shipping will not be reimbursed.
      • The cost of outbound shipping is not covered.
    14. You should not need to submit a warranty claim because we automatically implement this in our support process.
    15. We only offer warranty support for our own clients.
